According to the group, per the agreement, Mr Woyome, acting through one of his companies, Anator Holding Company Limited, is supposed to raise an initial financing of US$8.5 million to carry out feasibility studies for the construction of deep seaports including industrial parks and green townships.

According to a statement released by OccupyGhana, the Framework Agreement dated December 21, 2015 was signed by Mr Woyome as Executive Chairman of Anator Holding Company and the then Minister of Transport, Dzifa Aku Attivor.

According to the group, Anator Holding is one of the companies that has filed an interpleader suit, claiming to be the owner of two of Woyome’s properties that the government has finally managed to attach in the execution of the GH¢51 million judgment

Describing the agreement as “bogus” OccupyGhana also said it was signed with the express approval of Cabinet, as conveyed by a letter signed by the Chief of Staff from the Office of the President, dated 16th December 2015.
