They will meet Prempeh College and Adisadel College for the grand finale at the National Theatre in Accra on Thursday June 29, 2017.

St Acquinas had a consistent lead from round one and even though they slacked in round two and allowed PRESEC to close the gap slightly, they picked up in the subsequent rounds and ended round five with 52 points.

PRESEC got 39 points and Kumasi High got 28 points.

All the three schools going into the finals on Thursday have won the competition in the past.

St Thomas Acquinas has won it once, Prempeh College has won three times and Adisco, the reigning champion from 2016 has won it once.

PRESEC is the highest winner of the competition winning it five times but they have been struggling since the format for the competition was changed from two schools to three.

Adisadel goes into the finals as the weakest link, winning the semi-finals in their group with 36 points as against 27 from Ghana National and University Practice's 35 points.

Prempeh College enters the finals as the strongest, having emerged from their semi-final group with 55 points against Mfantsipim School's 49 points and 43 points from first time semi-finalists Mawuli School.
