National Thanksgiving Church Service on 25th anniversary of 4th Republic begins

The National Thanksgiving Church Service to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the 4th Republic in Ghana has commenced at the Independence Square in Accra with many dignitaries in attendance.

Notable among the dignitaries include President Akufo-Addo and his Vice, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as well as all the living past fourth Republican Presidents, including Flt Lt John Rawlings, Mr John Agyekum Kuffour and John Dramani Mahama.
The event was opened with a Christian prayer by the Founder of the Lighthouse Chapel International, Bishop Dag Heward Mills.
Attendees at the Silver Jubilee of Ghana’s democratic rule are dressed mainly in white clothes and other Ghanaian colours.
