Most Rev. Palmer Buckle endorses Ghana + peace campaign
The Ghana + Peace Campaign 2016 which begun its tour to all the Regions in Ghana are currently in Accra. On 27th October 2016, the Ghana + Peace campaign delegates took the endorsement of the Most Rev. Charles Palmer-Buckler, who is the Ghanaian Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Church, a former teacher and the second Ghanaian native to become Archbishop of Accra.

He was a member of 9-member National Reconcilliation Commission. He has remained vocal in Ghana and Africa on issues concerning peace, love and unity.
The Most Rev. Charles Palmer-Buckle who willingly gave his support and endorsement to the Ghana + Peace Campaign 2016, stated his genuine interest in matters related to peace. During the endorsement, the Most Rev. Charles Palmer-Buckle mentioned that very often people speak about peace in a negative way by instilling constant fear in citizens which should not be the case.
He added that instead of projecting so much negatively about peace we could all join in nurturing and advertising peace hence supporting the Ghana + Peace Campaign’s quest to make peace more attractive to Ghanaians.
Most Rev. Charles Palmer-Buckle also said that indeed everyone has an interest contrary to that of another person but yet still he believes no one would like to be in a country of chaos and violence.
According to the Most Rev. Charles Palmer-Buckle, “having visited Rwanda and witnessed the remains of the Rwandan genocide of 1994, no matter what happens we must all work for peace”.
Most Rev. Charles Palmer-Buckle, urged Ghanaians to support and promote additional peace than there is in the country before, during and after the elections.
