2003 medical class produces three MPs
The 2003 Class of the School of Medical Science of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has charged its members who have been elected as Members of Parliament (MPs) to lift high the flag of the school and to excel in their new vocation.

Three of the members of the class were part of the MPs who were sworn in on January 7, 2017, as members of the Sixth Parliament of the Fourth Republic.
They are Dr Kwabena Twum-Nuamah, MP for Berekum East in the Brong Ahafo Region; Dr Patrick Boakye-Yiadom, MP for Adansi East, Ashanti Region, and Dr Sebastian N. Sandaare, MP for Daffiama-Bussie-Issa, Upper West Region.
The President of the group, Dr Gabriel Sakyi Kwofie, asked the members to be guided by the principles that saw them through medical school and make their class proud through their works
In an interview with the Mirror, Dr Kwofie, who is the CEO of Living Waters Hospital at Ejisu-Krapa in the Ashanti Region, said the three doctors made the group proud by winning their elections and making it to the House of Legislature.
He said their victory was an indication of their hard work and that they could achieve anything they wanted once they were committed to it.
He said the zeal and commitment they exhibited during their campaign tours should spur them on to seek the best interest of their people.
On behalf of the group, he congratulated the three for their achievements, which, he said, would go a long way to spur others on to also venture into politics and contribute their quota to the development of the country, adding, “China Class is proud of you, make Ghana proud.”
The three were part of the 2003 class, known as the ‘China Class.’
