Man sodomises mentally challenged boy
A 25-year old man, who allegedly sodomised a 16-year old mentally challenged boy, has been arraigned before an Accra Magistrate court.

Kwame Kuley, unemployed, was charged with unnatural carnal knowledge, but his plea was not taken when he appeared before the court, presided over by Mr James Kojo Botah.
He has been remanded in police custody pending advice from the Attorney-General. All the parties were present in court but the victim was represented by his mother.
Inspector John Gohoho, presenting the facts of the case, said the victim lived with his parents at Teshie, where Kuley also lived.
Inspector Gohoho said the victim was an obtuse person with a mental challenge, making him inaudible.
Inspector Gohoho said on July 31, 2016, the victim was walking home from church when he bumped into Kuley.
According to the prosecutor, Kuley engaged the victim in a conversation and when he discovered that the latter has a challenge, he took advantage of him and lured him to his room where he forcibly had anal sex with him.
He said the victim, who was not happy, narrated his ordeal to his mother upon reaching home and described the victim as the culprit.
The prosecutor said the victim’s mother took him to the Nungua Police station and lodged a complaint and the victim was taken to hospital and treated.
He said later, the victim assisted the police in identifying Kuley, leading to his arrest.
