Abdul Karim Eliasu aka Samadu, who pleaded not guilty to both charges of unlawful entry and stealing, was granted bail in the sum of GH¢10,000.00 with two sureties to be justified.

The court ordered the police investigator to keep the exhibit until the adjourned date of October 5, 2016.

The  prosecutor, ASP Richmond Akwasi Yeboah, told the court, presided over by Mr Frank Yao Gbeddy, that the complainant, Dominic Anim, was a driver residing at Asitey, a suburb of Odumase Krobo.

He said on September 6, 2016, at about 8:00a.m, Anim  parked his truck in front of his store at the Agomanya Market to load goods from the store into the vehicle.

ASP Yeboah said  Eliasu, who had the intention of stealing, went closer to the vehicle and greeted Anim while looking out for any items he could steal.

Inspector Yeboah said when Eliasu noticed that Anim had left money in the vehicle, he quickly entered the vehicle and stole GH¢610.

He said  the sound  made by the vehicle door when Eliasu opened it, alerted Anim who was then in the store. When Anim turned, he saw Eliasu running away with his money.

The prosecutor said Anim raised an alarm and Eliasu was pursued, arrested and handed over to the police.
