The Eastern Regional Minister, Mr Eric Kwakye Daffour, commended Alhaji Boateng for his humanitarian gesture and urged other corporate organisations to emulate his example.

He said with the road completed, it would be now easy to move patients from one ward to another.

Mr Daffour said the work of Alhaji Boateng was an indication of how the private sector and the government could come together to provide Ghanaians with quality healthcare.

For his part, the Medical Director of the hospital, Dr Kwame Anim Boamah, said both patients and staff were excited and relieved that the road had been paved.

He described Alhaji Boateng as a friend of the hospital who had helped the facility in diverse ways previously and prayed that the relationship between the hospital and the businessman would grow from strength to strength.
