Knights and Ladies of Marshall for New Aplaku, Dansoman
New officers for the New Aplaku and Dansoman branches of the Knights and Ladies of Marshall, a Catholic friendly society, have been installed to run the affairs of the society for 2017.

Bro John Zigah was installed as Grand Knight for Council 71 and Sister Pamela Godwyll, Noble Lady of Court 63, Dansoman while Bro Ignatius Ekow Arthur was installed as Grand Knight of Council 109, New Aplaku with Sister Vivian Adusei as Noble Lady for Court 105, New Aplaku.
New Aplaku
In their installation addresses, Bro Ekow Arthur and Sis Adusei announced steps to begin the construction of a Temple for Marshallans at New Aplaku with a donation of GH¢40,000 towards the start of the Temple project.
They noted that the task of building a Temple was enormous but was also surmountable.
Bro Ekow Arthur said all documents with regard to the land including the drawings and the bills of quantities, would be completed by the end of February 2017 to pave the way for the sod cutting and planting of tree for the commencement of the Temple building in March 2017.
“As our commitment to ensure that the project does take off in March, myself and the Noble Lady donate GH¢40,000 towards the Temple Project,” he said.
He, therefore, called on the fund raising committee to help mobilise resources so that the project would reach an appreciable level by December 2017.
GK endowment fund
Bro Arthur also announced the setting up of an GH¢10,000 Endowment Fund to support members who would be going on retirement.
For her part, Sis Adusei urged the Sisters to be united in purpose to carry out God's work of evangelization, charity and service in love.
“It is only when we have love in our hearts that we can effectively carry out works of charity and service,” she said.
Dansoman
In his acceptance speech, Bro Zigah urged members of the society to support charity works.
He called for a sense of unity among members to ensure the successful implementation of programmes of the noble order.
For her part, the Noble Lady, Sis Godwyll, advised the members to actively participate in the activities of the society.
