Global Evangelical Church hosts Rev. Pamela McLaughlin
Global Evangelical Church (GEC) has received a four-member delegation from the United States of America led by Rev. Mrs Pamela McLaughlin, wife of the founder of Mount Olivet Baptist Church, Virginia, USA.

Other members of her team were Rev. Valani Harris, the Director of Ministries of the church, Pastor Karen Dones of the Greater Smith Temple and Ms Gladys Werts, an elder of the church.
The all-female team was met on arrival by Rev. Prosper Dzomeku, the Director in charge of Missions and Evangelism of the Global Evangelical Church.
The team, which was in the country from May 30 to June 7, 2017, held many church activities with some branches of the GEC in Ho and Sogakope.
They also organised special sessions with the Accra and Tema presbytery women’s ministries.Rev. Mrs McLaughlin and her team also held a closed-door meeting with the Synod Committee Executive of the GEC and also a seminar for church leaders.
Appreciation
She expressed her gratitude to God, the leadership of GEC and the entire membership of the church for the success of the trip and the warm reception given to them.
Rev. Dzomeku, on behalf of GEC, conveyed the church’s appreciation to the team for their periodic visits which went a long way not only to encourage but to strengthen the existing ties between the two churches.
Rev. McLaughlin is currently the Director of Christian Education, Women’s Ministry and Performing Arts of the Mount Olivet Baptist Church, Virginia, USA.
She and her husband were instrumental in building the Awate Todzi GEC chapel.

Rev. Mrs McLaughlin has established a special working relationship with the Ho-Fiave congregation where she plans to undertake educational-related projects.
Whenever she is in the country, she engages the women’s ministry in various congregations to encourage them, as well as fellowship with selected congregations.
