Announcing this in a press statement signed by the National Director for the Greater Accra Region Zone Two, Mr Ebenezer Sedufia, the fellowship said the convention, under the theme, ‘Be Fruitful and Multiply,’ would be a mix of prayer sessions, daytime seminars, evening rallies, a morning banquet, a youth forum and meetings of the Ladies of the Fellowship.

Main speaker

The director named Senior Pastor of the All Nations Christian Centre in Ghana, Rev. Ramson Asante Darteh, as the main speaker for the convention. With over 30 years’ ministerial experience, Rev. Darteh is described as “a spiritual father to many pastors” in many nations, including Nigeria, Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom and Canada.

He holds a leadership position in the International Clergy Association (ICA), an umbrella body of over 200 church leaders and pastors.

The Youth Forum of the convention, under the sub-theme, ‘Identifying Business Opportunities as a Young Entrepreneur,’ will be addressed by Dr Charles Buckman, a Ghanaian international minister of the Gospel, considered by many as “the new voice for Africans in the diaspora”. On Facebook, he has been named ‘The Most Inspirational Person’.

Other speakers

Other speakers at the Youth Forum are Rev. Edward Agyemang and Mr Pak Wo Shum, CEO of Aviation Alliance.

Mr Sedufia said the convention would also put a lot of emphasis on training Christian business executives to grow their businesses without getting themselves tainted by the corrupting influences of the world.

The regional conventions took off in the Central Region a fortnight ago with a spiritually invigorating event at Winneba, followed by Western Region.

Simultaneous with Greater Accra is the Brong Ahafo convention at the Eusbett Hotel, Sunyani. Subsequent regional conventions are slated for the Eastern Region from August 25 – 27 at the GNAT Hall, Koforidua; Ashanti Region, September 8 – 10 at the Golden Tulip Hotel; Volta Region, from September 15 – 17 at Hotel Stevens and the Northern Region, from October 27 – 29 at Picorna Hotel, Tamale
