FURNIDEC 2015 opens on September 17

The Sixth Furniture and Décor Exhibition (FURNIDEC 2015) will be officially opened at the National Theatre on September 17, 2015. More than 20 furniture and décor companies will be on board to display quality office and home furniture, living room and garden furniture, as well as handicrafts, at the exhibition which will be on the theme: “Craftsmanship, Design and Style”.

The four-day exhibition, being organised by Xodus Communications, an events management and public relations firm based in Accra, is expected to attract architects, real estate developers, interior decorators, building contractors and trade decision makers.

Companies participating in this year’s exhibition include Furnart Ghana, Art Decor, Mensart, Pergamon Joinery, Tekura Handicrafts, Woodeck Furniture, Latex Foam, Art Decor, Kings Decor and Open Space Lighting.

Others are Yenok Furniture, God With Us Furniture, Akan Furniture and Central Furniture Works.A press release issued by the organisers after the launch said the exhibition was in collaboration with the Forestry Commission.

He said FURNIDEC had, for the past five years, served as a major platform for companies in the furniture and décor industry to create ample business opportunities.

It said sharing common ideas and gaining a competitive edge were the underlying factors for FURNIDEC 2015.It is annually patronised by visitors from the country and the international community.

The exhibition will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily until September 20, 2015.
