Flokefama donates to LEKMA Hospital

Flokefama Company Limited, dealers in hospital supplies, has presented assorted medical equipment and food items valued about GH¢8,000 to the paediatric ward of LEKMA Hospital at Teshie in Accra.

The items include glucometers, a mobile oxygen cylinder with a flow meter, nebuliser and a pulse oximeter. 

Other items were, two mini bags of rice, assorted soft drinks, cartons of indomie, provisions and toiletries,

It also presented a cash amount of GH¢ 2,500 to cover the bills of three children whose parents were unable to pay for the cost of oxygen they were given in the course of their treatment and therefore could not be discharged.

Presenting the items, Mr Kenney Teye Kwabena, Managing Director of the company, said the donation was made out request by the management.

He expressed the hope that their widow's mite would go a long way to save lives and also called on other benevolent organisations to emulate the example by contributing their quota towards health delivery in the country.

Dr Doreen Atta-Fynn, Medical Director of the LEKMA Hospital who received the items thanked the donors for the kind gesture and assured them that the items would be put to its intended use.
