Fire destroys house at Bubuashie (photos)

Properties worth thousands of Ghana Cedis were on Thursday afternoon destroyed by fire at Bubiashie in Accra. 

But for the timely intervention of the Ghana National Fire Service, more houses could have been affected aside the eight room house which was affected.

According to some residents in the area, the fire followed an explosive sound close to the Accra Academy Senior High School.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
