The headmistress of the school, Mrs Cecelia Asabea Boateng who bemoaned the turn of events said the existing toilet facilities had to be demolished to pave way for the construction of a 24-seater capacity toilet by the World Bank.

The project which was started in May 2017 had however stalled.

Speaking on Citi FM Wednesday, the Municipal Chief Executive of LEKMA, Evelyn Naa Adjeley Twum-Gyamrah, said the Assembly has consulted the consultants of the project to provide four mobile toilets for use by the students.

“I have consulted the consultants so that at least we get some mobile toilets for now while the construction of the project is ongoing. We are looking at about four for now; two for the boys, two for the girls,” she said.

She however gave the assurance that the Assembly would work to ensure the completion of the project.
