Aglow holds national thanksgiving service Saturday

A non-denominational thanksgiving service dubbed “Aforebo Kese” comes off on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the Black Star Square, Accra at 7 a.m.

The programme under the auspices of Aglow International is on the theme “Ebenezer,  thus far has the Lord helped (Ghana)”. I Samuel 7:12.

A statement by the group said though this year, “we experienced trouble on every side, we are not crushed, we were perplexed but not driven to despair.”

It said even in the turbulence God had preserved Ghana’s peace and stability and “we can count our blessings.”

“No Ebola, no famine, no drought, no natural disasters just to mention a few. There is, therefore, the need to appreciate God and give Him the glory due His Name,” the statement said.

It said the music ministers at the function include Rev. Yabs and Stella Seal. TY Crew, Jasper Band, Royal Sparrows, Ghana Dance Ensemble, Brigade Band and God’s Gift International Band would also be in attendance.

It also said representatives from all the 10 regions would be part of this historic gathering.

The attire would be anything Ghana. The programme would be live on GTV at 10 a.m.
