There were also worship and praises sessions in honour of God, song ministrations, cultural display by all the 10 regions, the sharing of testimonies, among other activities.

The congregation, adorned in the national colours, sang and danced to the glory of God for His graciousness towards the nation.

Aglow women gave meaning to the service, dubbed: “Aforebo Kese”, as they made offering in large measure, both in kind and in cash.

The women came with large quantities of food items and goods from their respective regions for donation to selected children’s homes to show their gratitude to God for the natural resources he had blessed the country with.

She also thanked all religious bodies and Aglow International for continually praying for the peace of the nation.

She called on the women, religious institutions and the public to continue interceding for the country and its leaders, adding, “For by strength shall no man prevail as the Lord has said.”

She was accompanied to the service by other members of the commission and their presence was greeted with cheers by the congregation.

Mrs Osei reciprocated by smiling cheerfully and also waving a miniature flag of Ghana.
