Accra Psychiatric Hospital, Weija Leprosarium get support
In line with its corporate social responsibility, JISLAH Financial Services Limited has donated food items, toiletries and cash to the Weija Leprosarium and the Children’s Ward of the Accra Psychiatric Hospital.

Representatives of the company led by Ms Mimi Anaman, personal assistant to the Chief Executive, and Mr Emmanuel Obeng Jnr, senior officer incharge of project and recovery, made the first stop at the Children’s Ward of the Accra Psychiatric Hospital to present items including diapers, bags of rice, sugar, water and cooking oil.
The items were received on behalf of the hospital by Mrs. Makafui Agbeko, Nursing Officer in-charge of the children’s ward
Regular support
Handing over the items, Ms Anaman noted that the donation was a regular support the company offered to the needy.
“As a Christian organisation we believe in the mandate of giving back to society what God has blessed us with. We do this twice every year, on the Chief Executive’s birthday and at the end of the year”
She said JISLAH would continue to give care and support to the less-privileged in society through its corporate social responsibility programmes.
Receiving the items on behalf of the hospital, Mrs Agbeko expressed appreciation for the continuous support rendered by JISLAH to the hospital.
“We are grateful for the wonderful donation especially the encouragement and support you have given us over the years,” she said
Weija Leprosarium
At the Weija Leprosarium representatives of the company led by Mr Christopher Quaye, Head of Recovery, were present to hand over bags of water, drinks, food and cash amount to the occupants.
The items were received on behalf of the leprosarium by Mrs Gladys Adobea, Leader/Prefect of the facility, who thanked the company for supporting the needy and called on other corporate organisations to emulate JISLAH’s example.
