Accra Police get support from retired officer

A philanthropist has presented items worth GH¢42,500 to the Accra Regional Police Command in support of their work. The philanthropist, Mr Nyabil Al-Ahmad, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Itsalat International Ghana Limited, an authorised dealer of Samsung smart phones in the country, donated the assorted items at a ceremony in Accra.

They included Samsung smart phones, laptops, air conditioners, ceiling fans and leather chairs.

Mr Al-Ahmad is a retired police officer.

Mr Abigchab Boye, an official of the legal department of Itsalat International Ghana Limited, who spoke on behalf of Mr Al-Alhmad, said the donation was in response to an appeal by the Accra Regional Police Command for support.

The Accra Regional Police Commander, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mr Christian Tetteh Yohuno, after receiving the items, commended Mr Al-Ahmad for his support.
