Tigo supports Ahabaso school

Volunteer staff of Tigo, a mobile telecommunication company, have presented a number of educational materials to the pupils of Ahabaso–Manya Primary School in the Upper Manya Krobo District of the Eastern Region.

Items distributed include school bags, books, pencils, erasers as well as packed food.

The  staff also spent over three hours taking the pupils through English Language, Mathematics, ICT, Religious and Moral Education and General Science.

Speaking to the Daily Graphic at the ceremony, the Media and Public Relations Manager of the company, Mr Kwamena Buckman, said the presentation was part of the company’s corporate social responsibility.

It was  also to create an opportunity for the staff to utilise their skills, time and expertise to volunteer their services to the less privileged in the society.
