Over 150 students and staff members of the school took part in the clean-up exercise.

There was also an interactive session between the present and past students, during which the old students shared their life experiences and encouraged  the new ones to respect and obey their teachers and school regulations and also take their studies seriously.

The students were further told to avoid bad habits such as smoking, stealing and premarital sex:

The President of the 1994 Year Group of Students, Mr Stephen Elorm Bimpeh, said the school had produced a number of men and women of high standing, some of whom were lawyers, bankers, pharmacists, real estate developers, journalists, brand and  investment consultants, building contractors, IT consultants, US Navy personnel, educationists, medical doctors and consultants in the hospitality industry.

He gave a talk on the theme, “Giving Back”, and outlined the activities that were to be embarked on. The activities include a career fair and the launch of the Grace Lokko Foundation, a foundation named after Madam Grace Lokko, a former Headmistress of the school. There will also be a distribution of awards and scholarships and competitive games, among others.

The Headmaster of the school, Mr Sylvester Asiedu, expressed gratitude to the 1994 year group of students for their assistance to the school.

He said the doors of the school were always open to them. He appealed for financial assistance from old students l for some of the current students who genuinely faced financial difficulties and as such found it hard to pay their school fees.

The 1994 year group accepted to consider the request of the headmaster, promising to do something about the matter in the coming weeks.
