Seven Great Princes Academy will strive for higher laurels - Director

The Director of Seven Great Princes Academy Raphael Brown has hinted that the school has structured concise policies with respect to best curriculum education which could see it become the best senior high school in the country in the coming years.

Reacting to the school being adjudged the best private senior high school in Accra and the second best nationally by last month’s africaschoolsonline top 25 schools in the for the period 2011 to 2015, Mr Brown told the Graphiconline in an interview that the ambitions of the school are beyond the limit of the sky.

“We are satisfied with our modest gains so far and quite humbled by this achievement and accolade bestowed on us. We would strive to achieve higher excellence with all stakeholders in Seven Great Princes Academy”, he stressed.

The ratings based on schools with the highest recorded percentage of grades from A1 to C6 in the West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination of all second cycle schools in Ghana saw St James Seminary place first with 11 more Catholics colleges in the top 25 ratings.

However, only two private senior high schools, Akosombo International and Seven Great Princes Academy were among the top 25 nationwide with the latter placing 24th in the overall rating.

The school established 25 years ago is also the alma mater of Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan, former 100m runner Aziz Zakari and table tennis star Eric Amoah.

The school currently has a state-of-the-art boarding facility; a JHS and Primary located at Dansoman and Lartebiorkorshie; a basketball court; a plus sized dining hall and an ultra-modern assembly hall.
