Presenting the items on behalf of Fan Milk Limited, Mr Baffour Akwasi Oppong, the National Chairman of the Ghana National Scholarship Beneficiaries Association (GNASBA), said the company was committed to partnering state institutions in their quest to ensure a clean environment and promote good health.

He added that Fan Milk Limited had targeted the youth, whom he described as “future leaders”, for an ”environmental sanitation educational project”.

Mr Oppong said the campaign, which began in 1993, was a joint initiative of Fan Milk Limited and GNASBA and announced that the project had benefited some schools and colleges across the country.

Receiving the items,  Mr Akuoko Frimpong, the District Chief Executive for Sekyere Central, commended Fan Milk Limited and GNASBA for their efforts at ensuring a clean environment and gave an assurance that the bins would be fairly distributed.

He appealed to students and pupils in the district to patronise products of Fan Milk Limited  to ensure the continued support of the company.

Mr Frimpong also advised students in the district to take their academic work seriously to ensure success in examinations.

Okotwaresuo Nana Boamah Kawabi IV, the Paramount Chief of the Beposo Traditional Area, advised the students to work hard and aim at becoming reputable professionals in future.
