Peak Milk donates to Ashanti School for the Deaf

FrieslandCampina West Africa Limited, owners of the Peak Milk brand in Ghana, in collaboration with SOKPO, a Dutch educational non-governmental organisation, has donated 180 cartons of Peak Milk Powder to the Ashanti School for the Deaf at Jamasi in the Ashanti Region.

The Secretary of SOKPO, Ms Anneke Schnieders, who presented the items on behalf of FrieslandCampina, noted that their organisation believed strongly in good nutrition and good education for young people, especially equal opportunities for people with hearing impairment.

She commended the company for its support and expressed optimism that the products would not only relieve the school of the financial burden of buying milk for the students, but would also go a long way to energise them.

She lauded the staff of the school for their commitment and dedication to duty in spite of the many logistical challenges confronting them.
