This project is the first batch of 50 out of the 200 community day SHSs among the President’s Priority Projects.

In the Brong Ahafo Region, the tour took Mr Kyeremeh to sites located in the Tano South, Kintampo South, Techiman North, Dormaa municipality and Asunafo North districts.

The chiefs and all the various stakeholders in these districts were very delighted about the project and assisted the deputy minister and his entourage to conduct the verification exercise smoothly.

Mr Kyeremeh continued the tour to the Ashanti Region where he also visited sites in the Obuasi municipality, Adansi North, Bosomtwi Atwima Kwanwoma and Sekyere Afram Plains districts.

He expressed  delight about the readiness of the people towards the project. He examined their site plans and other supporting legal documents and encouraged them to finish the remaining processes immediately to kick-start the project in the very near future.

He reminded the beneficiaries of the schools of the importance the government attached to the project and encouraged them to support the government to implement the project as soon as possible.

That, he said, would greatly enhance the Ministry of Education’s policy of vigorously pursuing  access to education in 2014.
