KNUST honours Precious Minerals Marketing Corporation

The Internship Committee of the Department of Integrated Rural Art and Industry, Faculty of Art, College of Art and Social Sciences of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has honoured the Precious Minerals Marketing Corporation (PMMC) for its enormous contribution to students who are sent out for internship.

PMMC has been one major institution where students from KNUST have been having their internship for the past 10 years. 

It is for this reason that the Internship Committee of the University honoured the company.

A citation of recognition was presented to the Management of PMMC, saying that the continuous support of PMMC has greatly helped the calibre of people the university trains yearly.

“The training you give to our students who annually undertake industrial training is highly recognised. You have been of great benefit to the department, the university and Ghana at large,  especially during the 2012/2013 academic year.

“The department appreciates the contribution you offer towards the human development characterised by the youth. We say kudos and are planning towards a better relationship in the near future,” Dr Rudolf Steiner, the Departmental Head stated.

Mr Damptey also told the team that it was nice working with them, and advised the students to take their practical training seriously during their internship period.
