The package, which was introduced this month, would also make it possible for the Junior Graphic to provide extensive coverage of activities during Speech and Prize-giving Days of senior high schools.

St Augustine’s College

The past students of St Augustine’s College have taken advantage of the package and placed an order for 750 copies of the March 26, 2014 edition of the Junior Graphic, to be distributed to continuing students of the college.

Some past students of the school have already bought 500 copies of the March 5, 2014 edition of the paper for the school.

In the latest move by the past students association of the St Augustine’s College who were at the 84th Speech and Prize-giving Day, the idea to supply the students of the school with the Junior Graphic was to provide them with additional information and knowledge aside what they were taught during their normal school lessons.

Junior Graphic

To ensure that young achievers are duly recognised by society, the Junior Graphic, in its next edition, would feature the outstanding third-year business student of the College who took five prizes during the Speech Day, as well as the activities the young adults engaged in during the day.

Throwing more light on the package, the Director-Marketing-of the GCGL, Ms Shirley Acquaah-Harrison, said: “a school which took advantage of the package will be provided with a full colour page and a black and white page free of charge to publicise its Speech and Prize-giving Day in the Daily Graphic”.

Additionally, she said the Daily Graphic, as well as the Junior Graphic would also provide coverage of the Speech Day and write articles about the school.

Condition

In return, Ms Acquaah-Harrison said the school would have to buy a minimum of 500 copies of the Daily Graphic, 500 copies of The Mirror, as well as between 500 and 1000 copies of the Junior Graphic for continuing students of the school organising the Speech Day.
