He further stated that for twelve years, Mrs Adanuda led GNAT to greater heights through indigenous administrative skills and managed the affairs of the union with such dexterity and astuteness that she became a shining example for other trade unions in Ghana and Africa as a whole.

Mrs Adanusa thanked all who supported her during her 21 years service with GNAT as Deputy General Secretary and General Secretary of GNAT.

She said some of her guiding principles during her tenure of office were her focus, commitment, confidence and discipline.

"I fought so many battles and the greatest lesson was undergoing the study of human behaviour" she said.

Mrs Adanusa said she always found alternative solutions to problems to achieve results.

Mr Kofi Asamoah extorted Mrs Adanusa for her contributions to the labour movement in the country and said her role in the labour movement is much appreciated.

He said her role in the leadership struggle of the country was felt and she would be remembered.
