Under the project, the NGO is to distribute about 30,000 exercise books and other educational materials to some pupils in deprived communities across the country.

Presenting the items to the  headteachers of all the schools, the Communications Director of the NGO, Mr Fiifi Davis, said his outfit had a mission to support less—privileged children with educational materials to motivate them to study hard.

He noted that some parents in remote and deprived areas were unable to provide the educational needs of their children and added that such a situation contributed to the falling standards of education in deprived areas.

He added that AppoMense, in its bid to assist the government in the delivery of quality education, would construct classrooms  to provide a conducive environment for the students to study.

He urged the students to reciprocate the kind gesture by studying very hard to justify the confidence reposed in them.

The Director of the NGO, Mr Appoh Mensah, advised the pupils to be serious with their studies, since education would guarantee them a better life in future.

The  headteachers who received the items on behalf of their schools, respectively  the donation as timely and thanked  AppoMense Foundation for its support, stressing that the materials would enhance teaching and learning in the schools.
