The proprietor of TOMHEL Preparatory School at Effiduase in the Sekyere East District, Mr Thomas Nyarko-Danquah, who gave the advice, said children spent more time at home than in school and as such parents should take active part in moulding the characters of their children rather than leaving that responsibility to teachers.

According to him, these days, parents hardly got time for their children, thereby pushing some of the responsibility of raising their children to teachers.

Responsibility

Mr Nyarko-Danquah, who was speaking at the 12th anniversary Speech and Prize-giving Day of the school, observed that though teachers would do their best, the ultimate responsibility remained with the parents. He, therefore, urged parents to try and make time for their children.

He also advised parents to pay their children’s’ fee
