Addressing the ceremony, Prof. S. E. Owusu, Vice Chancellor of the college, said the CSUC received 716 applications, out of which 591 applicants who satisfied the entry requirements were offered admission.

He advised the students to see the need to define their mission and vision and strategy to achieve success by upholding discipline and high academic performance.

He said the college would  continue to uphold its core values and would not tolerate any negative acts such as examination malpractice and disregard for school rules and other behaviour that would undermine the image of the college.

He said the College was committed and prepared to offer credible academic training, research and good moral upbringing to students to enable them to grow up as responsible adults who would be able to meet future challenges.
