Camfed launches plan to promote girls' education
The Campaign for Female Education (Camfed), Ghana, a non-governmental organisation (NGO), has launched a five-year strategic plan with a focus on mobilising more resources to promote girls' education, build the capacities and confidence of young women to take up leadership roles in their communities for positive change in the society.
The Executive Director of Camfed, Mrs Dolores Dickson, who launched the strategic plan at the National Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the organisation in Tamale on Wednesday, called for cooperation and collaboration from all stakeholders to help achieve the goals of the three key areas outlined in the strategic plan.

The three key strategic areas are to "unlock new resources for girls' education, unleash new potential for young women's leadership and ignite new action to accelerate change"
