Bungalow for Fomena Community Health Nurses’ Training principal

The Association of Guardians and Staff (ASGAS) of the Fomena Community Health Nurses’ Training School has constructed a bungalow at a cost of GH¢178,310.16 for the principal of the school.

At the inauguration ceremony at Fomena in the Adansi North District of the Ashanti Region, the Adansehene, Opagyakotwere Bonsra Afriyie II, who was assisted by the Adansi North District Chief Executive (DCE), Alhaji Latif Majeeb, to inaugurate the bungalow, praised the ASGAS for its efforts.

He pledged the support of the Adansi Traditional Council to the school and the principal, indicating that, the traditional council would not relent in its efforts to join hands with the ASGAS to develop the school.

He, however, advised the Principal, Mrs Lynda Rockson Banful Mante, to ensure the proper maintenance of the building.

Donation to the school

The Chairman of ASGAS, who is also the Kontihene of Kusa, Nana Yamoah Ponko II, said the association had provided computers and a standby generator to the school, indicating that, the completion of the principal’s bungalow would not be the end of it’s support to the development of the school.

At the same function, the DCE cut the tape to inaugurate a summer hut built by the 2013/14 Students Representative Council (SRC) of the school at a cost of GH¢19,596.00.

Mrs Banful Mante expressed gratitude to the Adanse Traditional Council, the ASGAS and the 2013/14 SRC for what she called “immense and unforgettable support” to the school, and asked that they continue to join hands with her and the school administration to develop the school.
