In its seventh year, the scheme is aimed at encouraging brilliant students in deprived areas to get quality education.

The former General Secretary of the GNAT, Mrs Irene Duncan Adanusa, in a statement, noted that the collaborative effort between Bayport and GNAT had yielded fruits considering the achievements it had chalked up since its inception.

She lauded the scheme and mentioned that many students had benefited from it.

Mrs Adanusa further noted that parents should take this opportunity to partner teachers to help guide and guard their children to be of good behaviour and distinguish themselves during the period of the scholarship.

She noted that it was based on their performance that Bayport and GNAT would be encouraged to extend the support to other students.

The Managing Director of Bayport Financial Services, Mr Kofi Adu-Mensah, urged the beneficiaries to see themselves as lucky and proud students who have been given the platform to add value to their lives.
