The materials are four desktop computers and accessories, 90 copies of English textbooks, reading books, two scanners, two printers and teaching, and learning aids.

The Afigya Kwabre District Director of Education, Mr Ignatius Mwinbe Ere-Der; the Chief of Domenase Traditional Area, Nana Yaw Boateng, and the headmaster of the school, Mr Daniel Kwarteng, jointly received the materials on behalf of the school.

At a presentation ceremony at Ankaase, the Marketing Coordinator of ACEF, Lisa Tresch, urged staff and pupils of the school to be disciplined.

She cautioned the pupils not to indulge in deviant behaviours which might render them vulnerable to the  dangers of drug abuse, alcoholism, hooliganism and vandalism.

“As schoolchildren and the future leaders of the country, I admonish you to be disciplined, tolerant, courageous and humble in the development of your career.  You must learn very hard to become great ladies and gentlemen in future,” Mrs Tresch stated.

She called on stakeholders such as assembly members, school management committees and parent-teacher associations to collaborate with basic school authorities for the development of the child.

The Headmaster of the school, Mr Daniel Kwarteng, expressed gratitude to the NGO for the gesture and promised to take good care of the materials which would also be used for the intended purpose.
