Established in 2008, the vision of ANGUTECH is to provide science and technology training at the highest level in Ghana.

Speaking at the induction ceremony, Most Reverend Dr Daniel Yinkah Sarfo, Chancellor of the university said the focus of the university was to educate more students for careers in science and technology.

The newly inducted president, Professor Albert Addo-Quaye pledged to build upon the successes chalked by his predecessor, who he said helped greatly in the establishment of the university.

He said his focus in the next five years would be on infrastructure development, academic programmes, human resources, establishment of collaborative academic linkages with strategic business partners and promotion of research and publications by the staff.
