All Nations University receives Best Practice Award

All Nations University College in the Eastern Region has received an European award for Best Practices 2014 from the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR).

The European Awards for Best Practices programme recognises the outstanding commitment, support and results in quality management strategies in large organisations and public administrations. 

Selection

The award-winning institutions are selected by ESQR based on the results of the ESQR’s polls, consumer opinion research and market study. The selection process includes the research of public information sources, publications and positive remarks, advertising campaigns and university projects and exhibitions.

According to a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the university, Mr Michael Ampong, the awards ceremony, which took place at Brussels in Belgium recently at the Hostel Le Plaza, attracted business leaders, academic experts, representatives of the diplomatic corps and quality professionals from over 59 countries. The statement said the Executive Director of ESQR, Dr A. Arista, noted that the award recognised excellence and disseminated innovation and visionary thinking of the All Nations University.

It said the delegates, who received the award on behalf of the university, were Dr Carlene Kyeremeh, Vice-President, Academic Affairs, and Professor Prince Conteh, Chief Editor of All Nations University’s Journal of Applied Thoughts (ANUJAT). 

The Vice-President, Academic Affairs, Dr Carlene Kyeremeh, according to the statement, said the award reinforced the university’s pursuit of academic integrity in the area of research and other spheres of academic endeavours. 

She expressed optimism that the university would pursue excellence and innovation to serve and train humanity. She recounted the progress made by the university since its inception in 2002.
