Technology-driven

Taking the students through the matriculation oath, the President of the institution, Prof. Clement Dzidonu, advised the students to recognise the institution as a technology-driven university whose programmes were geared towards their future successes.

According to Prof. Dzidonu, the institution which was affiliated to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, had built a strong partnership with other leading universities including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Open University of Malaysia to offer its students access to learning resources.

Touching on the successes of the institution, he said the introduction of online learning resources in AIT had made it one of the continent’s leading lights in new learning resources.

‘’With the commencement of classes at its new second campus at Weija, AIT would be more positioned to cater for its fast growing number of international students, majority coming from West Africa, particularly Nigeria’’, he stressed.
