Abbeam Institute establishes scholarship for SHS students
Abbeam Institute of Technology, a private establishment, has instituted a scholarship scheme for students of senior high schools (SHSs).

The scheme, known as ‘Abbeam Study Awards 2017’, is open to all underprivileged SHS students across the country.
Graduates who completed SHS in the last three years but have been unable to progress in their education are also eligible for the scholarship.
Objective
The Chancellor of the institute, Rev. Dr Abbeam Ampomah Danso, who announced this, explained that as a believer in quality education, his objective was to ensure that as many needy students as possible got access to education irrespective of their financial situation.
Over 200 SHS graduates are expected to benefit from the scholarship. According to Rev. Dr Abbeam, funds had already been made available for the programme.
Abbeam Group
The ‘Abbeam Study Award 2017’ is one of the many projects under the Abbeam Group of Companies, which is also running a medical centre, real estates, financial institution, Christian outreach services and a school, all situated in the Kasoa municipality in the Central Region.
Abbeam Institute of Technology is a registered tertiary institution which is duly certified by the National Accreditation Board and affiliated to internationally recognised Institutions like Cambridge International College and Sunderland University, both in the United Kingdom.
It offers Diploma, Honours Diploma, EBA (Degree) and Master’s Degree programmes in Media, Communication Studies, Business Administration, IT, Health & Social Science.
