Other works are the rehabilitation of the Anyaa Market and bus terminal, as well as the construction/rehabilitation of social infrastructures such as health and recreation centres.

Maintenance and quality education

The Municipal Chief Executive (MACE) of the Ga Central Municipal Assembly, Dr Emmanuel Lamptey, at the inauguration called on all stakeholders to play their roles efficiently to ensure that the school was well maintained to deliver quality education.

“We believe that there is more to be done than just the mere edifice that we see. We need to make conscious effort to maintain this edifice so that we can benefit for years. We all have a duty to play in enhancing the quality of education,” he stated.

The task

The Ga Central Municipal Director of Education, Ms Denise Dinah Oye Welbeck, implored the teachers to live up to the task of delivering the best in providing quality education.

“I am tasked by my superiors to maintain a high standard of education in the municipality and I also expect you to put up your best in maintaining that standard,” she said.
