Female officer fired from Malawi Police over leaked nude photos

The Malawi Police has fired from the service officer Esther Chiundiza following the leakage of her nude photos that made rounds on social media. The dismissal is with effect from 29th March, 2017.

The police have confirmed the dismissal of Chiundiza (service rank number K4026) who reportedly graduated from Limbe Police Training School last year and was stationed at Chileka police, Blantyre.

“We can confirm that she (Esther Chiundiza) has been dismissed from Malawi Police Service,” said National Police Public Relations Officer, James Kadadzera.

And according to a memo signed by MPS’s Director of Human Resource Management, Joseph Chambuluka, Chiundiza has been fired following the resolution of internal disciplinary hearing on the charge of Conduct to Prejudice of Good Order and Discipline contrary to Section 52 (1) of the Police Act.

She has since been ordered to surrender all property to avoid facing criminal allegations.

Chiundiza early last month caused a social media stir following a leakage of her nude photos taken in a room suspected to be at a Police Training School (PTS).

It is alleged that she shared the pictures with her unconfirmed secret lover who unfortunately was later caught in possession of the pictures by his matrimonial wife.
