Chairman for the event, Anthony Akwasi Prempeh, stated that the charity show was organised twice each year as part of the church's corporate social responsibilities.

"This is a charity event where several items including bags of rice, bags of maize, cloth, wheelchairs, white canes, toiletries, beverage items and cash are donated to institutions including the security service, orphanage homes, hospitals and individuals," he said.

He expressed hope that the items donated would impact the lives of the beneficiaries.

Calling

The Founder and Leader of the church, Apostle Philemon Okoh Agyeman, said the event was not just a charity project to show off, but it was the church's little contribution to help society and make peace with God..

He added that it was the duty of every Christian to take care of the needy, adding that it was a calling that God had given to every Christian.

Apostle Agyeman also stated that giving and being charitable opened more doors for believers and helped them see the face of God.

"If we want to be blessed and see the face of God, we need to give and be charitable. You do not give because you have in bounty, but because it is your responsibility as a Christian,” he said.

He also urged believers not to use their riches to ride over the poor in society and called on the government and leaders in the society to come to the aid of the less privileged and make life comfortable for them.
