Did you miss the miracle?
Ghana just had successful elections and the results are known to all and sundry; there was a vote for a new leader. As a Christian, my excitement isn’t so much in the change in leadership, but the birth of another miracle, the third time success of Nana Akufo-Addo, our President.

It’s fascinating to witness this breakthrough again, considering the fact that it hasn’t happened once, twice or even thrice, but there are many examples.
Testimony One
Having excelled in academics, Fiifi thought a career as a law professor will be all there is to it until fate found him in politics. Having had a fairly smooth journey to the top position as the Vice President, it probably came as a shock to him to realize the quest to become the president will be this challenging.
Having lost two presidential elections and in the process letting his party down, why didn’t he opt to go back to the lecture halls where he will strive like a fish in water? It’s likely he was guided by ‘The righteous shall be glad in the Lord, and shall trust in Him; and all the upright in heart shall glory’, Psalm 64:10.
And God never let him down, thus from a percentage of 44.4% in 2000 to another defeat in 2004, he became successful in 2008 with 50.23% to become Ghana’s leader. All the odds were against John Evans Attah Mills, but alas no adversary could stand in the way of his miracle!
Testimony Two
Perhaps another dramatic wonder was how John from Bole came to occupy the Presidency. I will describe it as going to bed as member of Parliament and waking up as a president. This is not to despise all the efforts that he and others put in to make this feat successful, but all will agree with me that it takes a great dose of God’s favour to make a first attempt at the presidency and become successful. Let’s not forget the grueling experiences of some of his predecessors.
From his selection as a Vice Presidential candidate to becoming a presidential candidate and president, it’s evident that the hand of God was at work in the life of Former President John Mahama. And when God is at work, miracles happen!
Testimony three
This must be the most outstanding so far, I’m sure. This is a miracle President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and all his well-wishers will never get over. This victory from a battle he lost twice is very overwhelming and speaks volumes.
God’s word says “for your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion, therefore in their land they shall possess the double; everlasting joy shall be unto thee” Isaiah 61:7.
Nana’s breakthrough story shows God is ready to fulfill the desires of our heart and though it may tarry, it shall surely come to pass.
And this is what plumps up my faith because I believe Jehovah is and will forever remain faithful. He will never retire from the miracle business, Halleluiah!
