His inventions and innovations which deal with this grave medical condition among men, have led to the production of Prostacure Natural Tea which has caught the attention of the world.

At the Made-in-Ghana Awards, organised by the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana last weekend to celebrate indigenous Ghanaian business personalities and industries, Dr Dogbatsey’s Prostacure was adjudged the Overall Best Made-in-Ghana product. The award, which is the third to be won locally and the sixth international award, put the Medi Moses Prostate Centre miles ahead of its competitors.

Apart from that, the product has also been named as the Herbal Tea of the Year because of its strong commitment to quality and brand excellence.

The award was received on behalf of the Centre by Dr Moses De-Gaulle Dogbatsey, the CEO/Medical Director and Mrs Juliana Adyzie Dogbatsey, the Administrator of the Centre and one of their sons, De-Gaulle Moses Kofi Dogbatsey Jnr. It was presented to the team by Mr Robert Jackson, the American Ambassador to Ghana.

He was first recognised in 2015, where he was acknowledged as the Best Entrepreneur in the Health Sector. The citation which accompanied this award described him as “creative, innovative and nurturing the vision to create employment for many people across the country, as well as contributing to the growth of the private sector.’’

In an interview with The Mirror, Dr Dogbatsey said he was highly elated, motivated and inspired by this award and he used the opportunity to advise all men who are 35 years and above to regularly check for benign prostate enlargement to ensure that  any problems are dealt with early enough.

About Prostacure

Prostacure Natural Tea is a 100 per cent pure herbal food supplement used for improving urine flow in men with lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) such as frequent urination during the day and night, straining while urinating, difficulty in urinating, incomplete urination or incomplete emptying of the bladder, hesitancy or delay at the start of urination, intermittency or interruption in urine flow, weak stream or slow urine flow and urgency or inability to hold urine.

The flagship product of the centre, which has been thoroughly and scientifically analysed by the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi in terms of its effect on the liver and kidneys, has been certified to be safe.

The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) also double-checked the findings from KNUST before finally certifying the product.

Prospective studies carried out involving 20,000 male patients between 25 and 80 years over a seven-year period showed remarkable improvement in their LUTS within two to eight weeks of using Prostacure Natural Tea.

There was also enhanced libido and sexual function after using Prostacure. This was especially good news for men who had tried conventional therapies and experienced a decline in sex drive and performance, according to Dr Dogbatsey.

With this success story, Dr Dogbatsey said he was overwhelmed by the recognition the centre had received over the past six years and attributed the accomplishment to the meticulous and credible treatment and cure for benign prostate enlargement.

Education/Training

Dr Dogbatsey, a principal medical officer and pharmacognosist (specialist in plant medicine) from the School of Medical Sciences and the Faculty of Pharmacy, respectively, of KNUST, after training in orthodox medicine, said he practised for eight years at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi.

He was later seconded by the government to the Centre for Scientific Research into Plant Medicine at Mampong  Akuapem as head of the Medical Research Department for five years.

He later left to establish the Medi-Moses Prostate Centre where he was able to manufacture over 15 100-per cent pure herbal food supplements to manage a wide range of ailments affecting mankind naturally.
