SP Sarpong concert for Sunday

All is set for SP Kofi Sarpong’s concert dubbed, SP Kofi Sarpong Live in Concert, The Night of Favour as all roads lead to the National Theatre come Sunday, May 28.

According to Ernest Kwesi Ennin, CEO of Media Excel Productions, organisers of the concert, they are leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the concert goes down in history as one of the best ever to be held in the country.

“We are more than ready for Sunday’s concert, all the artistes are standing by and are well prepared for the concert, we will have a technical dress rehearsal to ensure that there are no hitches on the D-day,” he told Showbiz yesterday.

“Red carpet starts at 5pm sharp and the main event follows at exactly 6pm. We won’t go beyond four hours so by 10pm we will be done Sokohemaa and Fiifi Folson will host the red carpet while Amanda Jissih and Kwamena Idun will be hosts for the main event, “ he said.

Ernest Kwesi Ennin added that there will be acts from Shatta Wale, Kofi Kinaata and Nana Ama McBrown.

The concert itself will showcase spectacular performances from seasoned Ghanaian gospel artistes like Nacee, Ohemaa Mercy, Joyce Blessing, Gifty Osei, Abena Ruthy, Francis Amoh, Obaapa Christy, Cecy Twum, Uncle Ato, Kingz Kid, Niella among others.
