TV3 appoints new CEO
The Board of Directors of TV3 Network Limited (TV3) has announced the appointment of Mr Ray Nkwe as the new Chief Executive Officer of TV3, effective February 1, 2016.

Mr Nkwe takes over from Mr Augustus Bamfo Dickson, who is retiring from the company after 19 years of dedicated service.
A statement issued by TV3 in Accra said Mr Nkwe had also assumed the role of Chief Operations Officer of Media General (Ghana) Limited, the sole shareholder of TV3 Network Limited and MG Radio Limited.
Award-winning personality
Mr Nkwe is a South African and award-winning broadcast executive.
He has successfully led, turned around and repositioned South Africa’s biggest television channel, SABC1, SABC Commercial Division and SABC Commercial Radio businesses profitably.
The statement said he was a seasoned and accomplished practitioner within the media industry, with over 22 years of experience across multiple industries within South Africa and internationally.
Mr Nkwe worked for South Africa’s leading companies, including the South African Broadcasting Corporation, South African Tourism, 3 Diamonds Media & Communications and most recently South African Airways as its Head of the South African region.
It said the board of directors expressed its profound appreciation to Mr Dickson for his dedicated service and welcomed on board Mr Nkwe, who is poised to ensure that TV3 maintains its leadership position and continues to make the difference in the media industry.
