Ghana Beye Yie bags new award
Vision 1 FM’s programme, Ghana Beye Yie has been awarded Social Programme Of the Year at Foklex Media Awards recently held at the Golden Tulip in Kumasi.

Ghana Beye Yie contended with other social programmes on stations such as Hello FM, Otec FM, Nhyira FM, Metro FM and Fox FM.
The Chief Executive Officer of Foklex Media Awards, Frank Akwasi Owusu said the programme deserved the award because the influence Ghana Beye Yie has now cannot be measured.
“It was 100 per cent public voting and Ghana Beye Yie won hands down. In fact, no one complained when they emerged winners of Social Programme Of the Year. I just want to say kudos to them and urge them on” he said.
In an interview with Showbiz, Nana Yaw Sarfoh, host of Ghana Beye Yie said he was happy the station had won the award considering the other great programmes on others stations which were in contention.
“It is a surprise to many how Ghana Beye Yie and for that matter Vision 1 is all over the place and I want everyone to know that it is due to hard work dedication and accuracy.
“I also want to use this opportunity to thank the whole team for their efforts and dedication,” he added.
Nana Yaw, who was awarded Morning Show Host of the Year in 2012 when he was at New Mercury and Personality of the Year at Fox FM by Foklex Media says “the sky is his limit”.
