When Nana Addo called on Otumfuo
Despite the ban on noise making due to the death of the queen mother of the Ashantis, Nana Afia Kobi Apim Serwaa II, NPP supporters in the Ashanti Regional capital could not help but cheer on with excitement when the president-elect, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo called on the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II during the Akwasidae on Wednesday.

Nana Addo also used the ocassion to inform the Ashanti King of his victory at last week’s election.

While the president elect and his party officials wore dark colours to show mourning the dead queenmother, party supporters were clad in party colours of red, blue and white.
