We are colleagues in music not friends – M.anifest

After participating in a captivating lyrical battle with Sarkodie, M.anifest insists their relationship has not been affected because they were never friends.

He explained that before the "beef" they were “musical colleagues” and that still remains the case till date..

The duo were in the headlines several weeks ago when Manifest released a song in response to Sarkodie’s ‘Bossy’ track.

He said his response which he titled, ‘godMc’ was inspired by Sarkodie's Bossy song.

He explained that although the song was directed at Sarkodie’s ‘Bossy’ track, it was nothing personal since it also addressed other issues.

“For me as a creative artiste who is fearless and bold, when I disagree with something and I feel a certain way about it and I can address it in music and I did that and I just keep it moving.”

M.anifest, born Kwame Ameteepee Tsikata is set to release a 14-track album titled, ‘No Where Cool’ on September 8.
