Victoria Lebene and friends donate to Dzorwulu Special Home

Actress Victoria Lebene Mekpah, along with some colleagues in the entertainment industry  born in the month of July, has marked her birth month with a donation of various items to the Dzorwulu Special Home in Accra.

The items included bottled water, raw and processed food items, clothes, toiletries and beverages. 

The donation, dubbed ‘July For Love’,  was done to provide some of the frequently needed items in the school.

Ms Mekpah and her friends used the opportunity to interact  and play games with some of the children at the school.

“Everyone involved in the donation was born in the month of July and we decided  we had to show  love to others. For us, July is the month of love and  there’s no better way  to share that love than to give to the betterment of society,” she said.

Some of those present at the donation were actresses Gifty Asante and  Peter Ritchie as well as scriptwriter,  Joe Wackle.
